Senator Claire McCaskill's office was recently asked she voted against the Bill of Rights in favor of indefinite detainment of Americans without due process. The bill gives the government the right to decide who is considered an enemy of the United States with no court proceedings for the government to produce the required evidence as required by Article III Section III of the Constitution. Obviously it violates Amendments 5, 6, 7, and 8 as well.
McCaskill's office was recently asked why she voted against the Bill of Rights. She didn't directly answer the
Joplin Globe, but she did issue a press release noting the National Defense Authorization Act was at least earmark free.
In a statement issued at its passage in December, however, McCaskill noted that the NDAA was “completely earmark-free.” McCaskill had previously released an investigation that found at least 115 earmarks that were secretly inserted by the House Armed Services Committee, and subsequently stripped from the bill. McCaskill is a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Readiness and Management Support. Well thank you Claire. I will sure be sure to send the thank you letter when we are all rounded up for supporting the Constitution over tyranny and paraded off to our FEMA detainment camp.
