Gemma Bissix Is Joining Eastenders
Gemma Bissix is joining UK soap Eastenders to add some more glamour. It's actually re-joining because Gemma played Clare, Nigel's stepdaughter as a child actor.

She's now 25 and all grown up plus Gemma had the experience of being in Hollyoaks in her role as Clare Cunningham. In the 2007 Soap Awards she won the Villain of the Year for this part - that's her with her trophy in the photo above. The photo below shows her in a glamour pose.

About her Eastenders role she said, "It's a good move for me and something I didn't think would happen. I'm going back for nine months and then we are going to see what happens. All I have been told is that Clare is going to live with Dot and she's going to be a handful."
