The St. Louis Rams have signed wide receiver Jordan Kent to replace Keenan Burton, the receiver lost for the season to a knee injury. Burton hurt his right knee in Sunday's 28-23 loss to New Orleans. Kent is 6-foot-4 and spent training camp with Seattle. He was waived on Sept. 5. He was a sixth-round draft pick of the Seahawks in 2007 and split time between the practice squad and active roster.

If the records seem modest, remember that Burton is a second-year player for a team that is not exactly an offensive powerhouse.
