Sierra Thomas and Daniel Mathie died in a skydiving accident. The skydiving community is mourning a deadly accident this week. Twenty-two year old Sierra Thomas and her instructor died this weekend in a tragic skydiving accident. Thomas was tandem diving with thirty year old instructor Daniel Mathie at the Cleveland Parachute Club in Ohio when their parachute failed to open completely. Witnesses say that they watched the duo spiral to the ground, where they were pronouced dead on arrival. Mathie was an experienced instructor.
