NYC: A Japanese boy band formed by three members of NYC Boys (stylized NYC boys) in 2010. NYC Boys was formed on June 7, 2009, to promote the FIVB World Grand Prix 2009, an event that began on July 31 and ended on August 23, 2009. They performed the theme song "NYC" in Tokyo and Osaka before each game.

Jonas Brothers: An American pop boy band. The band gained its popularity from the Disney Channel children's television network. From the shore region of New Jersey, the band consists of three brothers: Paul Kevin Jonas II (Kevin Jonas), Joseph Adam Jonas (Joe Jonas), and Nicholas Jerry Jonas (Nick Jonas). In the summer of 2008, they starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock. The band has released four albums: It's About Time, Jonas Brothers, A Little Bit Longer, and Lines, Vines and Trying Times. In 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award at the 51st Grammy Awards and won the award for Breakthrough Artist at the American Music Awards. As of May 2009, before the release of Lines, Vines and Trying Times, they have sold over eight million albums worldwide.

Hi-Five: An American R and B quintet based out of Waco, Texas who had a #1 hit on Billboard's Hot 100 in the early 1990's with "I Like the Way (The Kissing Game)". Hi-Five was formed in 1990, and consisted of the late Tony Thompson, Roderick "Pooh" Clark, Marcus Sanders, Russell Neal, and Toriano Easley. Easley was later replaced by Treston Irby.

PureBoys: PureBoys is a Japanese actors unit and pop group under endorsement of popular celebrity blogging service AmebaBlog. PureBoys was originally conceived as a promotional subsection of Ameba featuring young actors with blogs hosted under the service, therefore members are all not signed to one talent management company or recording label. Each member is individually managed by his respective agency, and the group's records are released through indie label Pullup Records.

LFO: An American three-man pop/rap group consisting of Rich Cronin, Devin Lima (born Harold Lima, March 18, 1977), and Brad Fischetti (born September 11, 1975). Before Lima joined the group in 1999, the third member was Brian Gillis, known as "Brizz", who was with the group from its start in 1995. The band is best known for their hit songs "Summer Girls" and "Girl on TV".

The Moffatts: A Canadian pop/rock band, composed of brothers Scott, Clint, Bob and Dave Moffatt. Eldest brother Scott was born on March 30, 1983 in Whitehorse, Yukon. Less than a year later, on March 8, 1984, triplets Bob, Clint and Dave were born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Although born on the same date, Bob and Clint are identical twins while Dave is a fraternal triplet.
