The Houston Texans don't have time to wallow in their second straight difficult loss. They have just six days to prepare for the 10-0 Indianapolis Colts and need a win to hold on to their playoff hopes. Coach Gary Kubiak said he's glad his team has a quick turnaround so the Texans (5-5) can put this defeat behind them. "You can't feel sorry for yourself in this league," he said. "It's a tough league and it's very, very disappointing and it's a rough day for everybody. But we get a chance to go back. We're going to have to be very, very good to ... Read Full Story

Matt Schaub looked like two different quarterbacks in the first two weeks of the season. His shaky performance in Week 1 ended with a woeful offensive shutout. He rebounded against the Titans to throw four touchdown passes in one of the best games of his career. Now the Texans must wait to see which Schaub shows up Sunday against the Jaguars. Coach Gary Kubiak and receiver Andre Johnson both said his struggles against the Jets in the opener had a lot to do with an ankle injury he has finally put behind him. If he can stay healthy, the Texans believe they'll find consistency ... Read Full Story

Cornerback Fred Bennett has never lacked confidence, exuding it from the moment he was drafted by Texans in 2007. It helped that his friend and college mentor Dunta Robinson was already starring in the Texans secondary when he arrived in Houston. With Robinson skipping camp in a contract holdout and six-year veteran Jacques Reeves out with a broken leg, the Texans are counting on Bennett to use that confidence and lead this shaky group.
