Texans owner plans on extending both Gary Kubiak and Rick Smith

According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, Houston Texans owner Bob McNair stated that he plans on extending the contracts of both general manager Rick Smith and head coach Gary Kubiak. Both Kubiak and Smith deserve an extension after putting together an impressive team over the past few seasons that would’ve gone farther in the playoffs it they didn’t lose both their starting and back up quarterbacks to season ending injuries.
