SEATTLE, Dec. 25 (UPI) -- Seattle Seahawks Coach Mike Holmgren says he will not coach anywhere in 2009, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported. Rumors this week suggested he would coach another NFL team next season, but Thursday, the newspaper reported he plans to take the 2009 season off and then determine whether he will return to the NFL in 2010. Jim Mora, who is getting his second chance at being a head coach, has been officially introduced as coach of the Seattle Seahawks. Mora becomes the National Football League franchise's seventh head coach. He was named to succeed Mike Holmgren last February after Holmgren said he would be stepping down. From: The News Tribune Bobby Engram would not disclose exactly how the team came to the decision to buy Mike Holmgren a Harley, but he said they basically wanted to give him something that was a lasting memory. “What do you get for the guy who seems to have everything?” Engram said. He said they chose Mike Wahle to ride it in because it had to be someebody who wasn’t practicing, who had motorcycle riding experience and who was big enough to hold it up.
