The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival or the Coachella Fest is an annual festival of arts and music organized every year in the month of April. Organized by Goldenvoice which is a subsidiary of AEG Live, the Coachella Valley festival is a multi-day festival that is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California which is set in the Inland Empire's Coachella Valley. The event is planned to display the talents of many musicians presenting different genres of music which include rock, indie, Hip Hop and electronic music and large sculptural art. The festival also has several tents arranged throughout the grounds which showcase musicians playing live music continuously. Coachella Fest and Arts Festival  that features  main stages such as  Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, Gobi Tent, Mojave Tent, and the Sahara Tent.

Furthermore, in the year 2006 there was the addition of a smaller Oasis Dome. Since its commencement, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival became popular among the locals and travelers alike. The Coachella Fest has become very well-liked among the music enthusiasts and thus it has become difficult to control the crowd.  Thus, Goldenvoice announced that the festival shall be carried on for two separate weekends, starting in 2012. With a desert setting, this festival has been one of the most admired festivals of the generation. Coachella Valley Festival has display of music performance of several popular musicians. The festival is a colorful event with a wide array of indie and alternative bands featuring their flair.

This 10-day long music festival has been drawing several people a day. Tourists from all over the world come to Coachella to enjoy and rock out to their favorite artists like Radiohead, Kaskade, and the Shins to artists like the Arctic Monkeys and Snoop Dogg.
