Diet Coke Trick Image by Lisa Borodkin Pouring Diet Coke over the corrosion on the battery terminals. The acid eats it away. Worth a try if the car won’t turn over.

The Real Thing works better than the generic store brand. I don’t drink regular Coke and can’t vouch for it. YMMV.
