Colby Armstrong is no stranger to physical play and questionable hits. During the Thrashers‘ 2-1 loss to Washington on Thursday night he added yet another hit to his lengthy resume.
With the Capitals leading, 1-0, midway through the second period, Washington rookie Mathieu Perrault made a pass in the defensive zone and was quickly on the receiving of Armstrong’s flying right hand.
