THE SOUNDS Big Summer Plans- New Video, No Doubt Tour, Rock Dave Letterman

     MUSIC NEWS- The Swedish quintet THE SOUNDS have unveiled the new video for their single "No One Sleeps When I'm Awake, filmed at Glasslands gallery in Brooklyn, NY, off of their new album, CROSSING THE RUBICON, (out today!).  Watch it below!  To celebrate the release, their third full length album, and first release in partnership with Original Signal Recordings, The Sounds have just been confirmed to perform the first single on "The Late Show with David Letterman" on June 15th. The irresistible song, powered by attitude, ambition, and adrenaline, will go for adds at alternative radio on May 11th. To promote, the band recently kicked off a headlining tour of the States beginning and is currently on a 3-month summer tour as support act for No Doubt (see itinerary below).

CROSSING THE RUBICON follows the trials and tribulations of a tight-knit group of friends that go from playing small clubs in their hometown of Helsingborg, Sweden to entertaining legions of fans around the world. From the romantic combat of "My Lover" to the irresistible insolence of "4 Songs & A Fight," from the bittersweet "Home Is Where Your Heart Is," to the catchy chorus of "Beatbox", CROSSING THE RUBICON is a fulfilling combination of beautiful melodies, guitar riffs, and boisterous beats, set to the backdrop of the highs and lows of human nature. The band, along with respected producers Adam Schlesinger, James Iha, Matt Mahaffey, Jeff Turzo, Mark Saunders and Tim Anderson produced CROSSING THE RUBICON.
