See who's visiting the Catskills, Our guest blogger Yesterday the temperature warmed up to 82 degrees, it was the perfect day for an outing. We had a great Saturday on the 9th, for flying kites and had two new people join our command, who will be an asset to the club. Lou, who is a talk show host for 96.3 FM in our local area joined up with his beautiful predator bird kite, that looked like a real bird in the air. A quite beautiful girl Sophia in a snap taken one year ago by a local Lahore based photographer. It seems that, Sophia along with her friend was sharing in the yearly Basant festival celebrations. Basant is a local West Punjabi event that celebrates the arrival of springtime by the mass flying of kites. Kite flying competitions are staged throughout the Punjab, but the activity is particularly zealous in the city of Lahore.
