In some school districts here in the Houston, TX area the are 2 sets of textbooks. One is issued to the child to keep at home for use there. Then there is a set to be used in the classroom. Most schools here no longer permit kids to go to their lockers between classes. That is why there is a set of textbooks to be used in the classroom.
I'd be stressing over having to replace the eReader when my kid lost or broke it.
