Computer Virus Removal $150

Several years ago I came to the realization that a very high percentage of computer problems were directly attributed to computer viruses. That was the reason why I started the Computer Virus Removal service, an exclusive Kern Tech Support service by all appearances. I’ll qualify that statement later.

I have yet to come across a computer repair company that just tells the customer like it is. I was recently at a reputable computer repair shop and overheard a customer telling the repair technician she thought her computer had a virus. Everything the customer stated was indicative of a computer virus, but the repair technician would not comment until after the customer agreed to a $65 diagnostic.

This “diagnostic” was justified because, according to the tech, “It will point to corrupted drivers and files.” Of course it will, so will a virus scan! Never mind the fact that an experienced computer repair tech generally knows what’s wrong with a computer the moment the customer begins explaining the symptoms. We don’t need a $65 inspection to state the obvious. This was all a show, and, incidentally, the repair would cost an additional $150.

Now, we’re up to $215 for computer virus repair, but who’s counting? At this point, the customer was at the mercy of the technician, and since the children needed the computer for school, she would spare no expense. Right about this time the technician asked the customer, “So, do you want us to delete all your pictures and music?”

This question is kind of like “Do you want fries with that?” I mean, what customer is going to say, “Why yes, please destroy all of my files in the process of fixing my computer.” Add $100 for data recovery. I think the store quota, at least on the bulletin board in the break-room, is “Every Customer Pays $300 for Service.”

Here’s why the Kern Tech Support Computer Virus Removal service is exclusive:

  1. Data recovery is included
  2. Computer Virus Removal is included
  3. Free, award winning anti-virus software is included
  4. Internet security training is included
  5. Pick up and delivery is included

Total cost for the above Computer Virus Removal for a residential desktop PC is $150*. I’m sure there are similar services, but not one can provide the same level of personable service offered by Kern Tech Support.

*…in 99% of cases. Some restrictions apply.
