How To Get The Best Concert Tickets

There was once a time that the only way to get concert tickets was to stand on line at your local concert venue. For really hot lineups you'd have to arrive early and bring a tent and sometimes enough food to last you for a few days. Thankfully high demand and technology have teamed up to bring you several different ways to find concert tickets for you favorite show.

The world wide web has made standing outside a thing of the past with several websites dedicated to selling concert tickets over the Internet Some things, however, never change. The website will often have a specific time when the tickets will go on sale, and all you have to do is choose your seats. Be prepared for long page loads and error messages due to high usage. One trick is to have a few friends on via your favorite instant messenger trying to buy tickets. Keep each other abreast of your progress. The person who gets the best seats buys the tickets for everyone. Remember a valid credit card or debit card is necessary for these transactions. Just because this is the Internet doesn't mean that tickets won't sell out quickly. It isn't convenient for only you, but for the entire world too.

If you missed the day of sale, there are lots of other sites where people sell their tickets. Check local on-line classified ads, auction sites, and especially the sites dedicated to ticket sales from private sellers. You will usually have to pay a premium for tickets from private sellers. Expect extremely high prices for hot tickets. It is the exception to the rule that you can get a great deal, but it can happen especially on an auction site.

If you don't have Internet access standing online at your favorite venue, or local ticket sales office is not a thing of the past. Many places have systems where you can stand in line for a wrist band ahead of time in order to get priority positioning on the actual day of sale. There are even some ticket sales offices that aren't very well known, so you the lines won't be as long as the better known places. Don't be afraid to ask friends for their tips too.

In the end you can try to rely on lady luck to get concert tickets and presale concert tickets. Tuning into your favorite radio station can be the key to score front row seats to the concert you've been dying to see. If the show is sold out, it is more than likely that radio stations will have a number of tickets to give away. Calling in to win can make that an even sweeter deal!
