LMB NYC: This Week’s Concert Calendar (Dec. 19-25) Pre-Holiday Edition

After a stellar week New York-area shows, things still down a bit for this week’s unison calendar as we conduct into a holidays.

There are still some decent shows going on this week, though since of a slimmer selection, we suspicion I’d supplement a few additional videos to assistance give this one a bit some-more meat. Check it out…

Yo La Tengo is behind with their annual eight-night Hanukkah residency during Maxwel’s in Hoboken. With 8 nights to fill, a bands tends to puncture low on catalog, bust out some good covers, and generally flog adult a antics for these insinuate shows.

The “Hanukkah run” seems to be augmenting in recognition and Matisyahu — who recently shed his heading beard — is behind in NYC for his annual “Festival of Light.” He’s doing 8 nights during venues via Brooklyn and Manhattan:

There’s also some peculiarity hip-hop shows this week including Common and Digable Planets, dual of my favs from a 90s era:

For something some-more indie and psychedelic, Woods is a good option, and they’re behind during Glasslands tonight.

In a suggestion of a season, we couldn’t conflict posting some Trans Siberian Orchestra. TSO brings their part-metal, part-classical, and totally egotistic holiday spectacular to Nassua Coliseum this Wednesday.
