Congressman Bill Pascrell Jr.

 “In his case, the cliché is true: Pascrell is a fighter.” The Bergen Record and the Herald News, the largest newspapers of record in the new 9th Congressional District, have both endorsed Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. in the upcoming Democratic Primary election on June 5th. These newspapers join the Star-Ledger in endorsing Pascrell less than a week ago.  

Former President Bill Clinton on Friday urged a crowd of several hundred at a Paterson high school to send Bill Pascrell Jr. back to Congress because of his record as a “fighter” for the middle class.  

“Bill Pascrell, not Steve Rothman, should get Ninth District Congressional seat” The Star-Ledger, New Jersey’s largest daily newspaper, has endorsed Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. in the upcoming Democratic Primary election on June 5th.  

As the battle for the Democratic primary in the 9th Congressional District comes down to the wire, both Bill Pascrell Jr. and Steve Rothman are rolling out what they hope will be key endorsements in the lead up to the June 5 election.  

What Rep. Bill Pascrell Jr. lacks in cam­paign funds — just about half of what his primary opponent, Rep. Steve Rothman, has on hand — he could make up for in star power Friday when Bill Clinton comes to stump for the Paterson congressman.
