Congressman Brian Baird will not seek re-election to the seat he’s held for nearly 14 years. The 3rd District representative announced his retirement Wednesday in a press release. According to his statement, Baird wants to “pursue other options, other ways of serving.” The Vancouver Democrat did not say what those options might be.
