WNEM's Katie O'Mara appeared to just agree with and to believe everything in the interview with Patrick Kildee. The therapist from the 80's gave a brief statement that these repressed memories occurred during therapy. Yet statements are that Patrick was in and out of the state mental hospital. In my opinion WNEM either did not understand or did not care...Read Full Story

FAIRGROVE, Mich. (AP) - A 51-year-old village trustee and retired law enforcement officer from Michigan's Thumb has declared his candidacy for the Republican nomination for the U.S. House that Flint Democrat Dale Kildee now holds.
"I'll be sitting in the aisle, hoping to shake hands with the president again," Kildee said this afternoon. "This is my 36th State of the Union and I've been in on good times and bad times and in war and peace."
Kildee, 82, is one of a handful of members of Congress who every year arrive early to snag a choice seat on the aisle to greet the president as he's escorted to the podium. Tuesday night was no exception.
Just months after announcing he would retire from Congress and after nearly 50 years in public office, U.S. Rep Dale Kildee was forced to take on allegations he molested a second cousin in the 1960s.
Representative Dale Kildee is from the 5th District of Michigan. Kildee is a member of the Democratic Party. Dale Kildee serves on the Education and the Workforce Committee and the Resources Committee.
