Video: US House Race Fundraising High

Four million dollars has been spent on the race for North Dakota's lone US House seat this election cycle. In numbers released this week, Representative Earl Pomeroy reported spending more than two-point-eight million dollars in his fight for another term in Washington. Challenger Rick Berg has spent one-point-two million dollars and as the two come to the finish line in the race they continue to raise more money. In fact, since the first of this month, Berg has out-raised Pomeroy. The Republican has raised $156,000 to Pomeroy's $130,000 since October 1st. Currently the Democrat Pomeroy has $570,000 in the bank with no debts, while Berg has nearly $580,000 in the bank and about $126,000 dollars in outstanding debt. A poll released yesterday by national polling group Rassmuson Reports showed that Berg had a ten point lead over Congressman Pomeroy.
