Gresham Barrett’s Conversion

This video is corny. Too much work. It is also likely that 100 percent bullsh * t … which is probably what most people who transmitted to us thought we had said when they passed us.

In fact, it may well be the sappiest thing that we have seen since the former place kicker Jad Dean Clemson University has announced to the world, who was a field goal in South Carolina in 2006, saved his soul.

(Perhaps not surprisingly, it was strangely parallel cut produced by the same church …)

But there is something about the former U.S. Rep. Gresham Barrett emotional new evidence strikes us as persuasive … and effective. For starters, it’s incredibly early – and is literally oozing with the kind of authenticity that was missing during his failed 2010 campaign for governor.

“All my life I tried to be a good person,” Barrett says in the video. “He tried to live in the real world. Tried to do what the Lord wanted me to do.”

“I was wrong,” says Barrett. “I tried to please me. I tried to please the man. I tried to do things that are terrestrial. And I tried to mold the will of God – and when I realized I was going to lose this race, I was afraid. I was lost. ”

Barrett, for those of you who have forgotten, was beaten by South Carolina Governor Haley Nikki in the last round of elections 2010 Republican gubernatorial last summer. And then it was a decision that more than a few Republicans will no doubt like to have back – it’s one that certainly seems to have had a profound impact on the lives of Barrett.

Normally, we would jump up and down all the videos like this – with both feet. Not just hate it when politicians pander to the religious issues, but we made it clear during the campaign 2010 (although the scandal broke Haley), we believe that Barrett was the right man for the job.

Yet as much as we’d like to slap this video, you can not … it is just as good. And although of course we have doubts about its authenticity, it’s really between Barrett and his new best friend of Jesus, is not it?

In addition, Barrett does not work for the office … which means that there are literally tons of South Carolina that the video will eat up.

Seriously … All that he needed a treat Jimmy Swaggert said to be the case, is not it?

Oklahoma State Representative Sally Kern – who once called gays a bigger threat to America than terrorism – which it says is an indication of hate gays can not change their sexual orientation.

Appearing this week on American Family Radio, a program of the American Association homophobic family, Kern (photo, right) told host Tim Wildmon, “For me, what is hateful is when people say “You are born that way, there is no hope for change, you’re stuck in this area, deal with,” is hatred. There is no hope in it. “Wildmon asserted that” no individual hates homosexuals “, but the religious right wants to” see it coming to repentance and to know the Lord and have changed their lives. ”

Kern closed the show by saying that “the homosexual movement is just the tip of the spear” in “trying to destroy the moral fiber of America.”

Also this week, the second vocal conservative pundit Ann Coulter (left), shared his opinion as to whether you can “pray the gay away.” Joy Behar on The Show, Coulter told Behar that what is called for restorative therapy probably works for people who “were not really gay to begin with – maybe they were abused as children” She expressed disbelief that “liberals who believe everything. of polymorphous perversity is normal …. can not imagine that you could go from being gay right “When Behar’s challenge and introduced the idea of” asking the right away, “Coulter said,” It would be strange. ”

Coulter also said he would like to see “do not ask, do not tell” military policy that restored, adding, “I” do not ask, do not say “all of society – like I give a week when we’re not talking gay.” The only advantage of the recent enactment of the new Law on marriage equality in New York State, he said, is that now “the best to be quiet about it.”

Watch the video below, and listen to the people through the Kern for the American Wing Watch blog.will be properly filled in July. Solar Tech is also expects full capacity in the month of August.
