What a disgrace certain Republicans in Congress have become. They obviously are spineless and afraid to stand up against Democrats who wish nothing more than to gain power through bigger government. Thank God for people like Rush Limbaugh who actually cares enough about his country to at least say something, unlike Congressional Republicans who are so damn afraid of being called a racist, that they are willing to give Obama a free ride while attacking Limbaugh.
I know I don't need defend Limbaugh. In fact, after Obama attacked him, Rush's rebuttal was of the utmost class and of course shined far brighter than Obama ever could. Obama once again looked like a baby. We will become used to this.
Rush is not the problem with the Republican party. The problem with the Republican party are people like Representative Phil Gingrey who calls for Rush to back down? It's like these Congressman are getting to used to the power they have given themselves over private business with the current round of bailouts. First off, Representative Gingrey, Rush didn't take any of your dirty bailout money, so it may work over GM, Chrysler, and a few banks, but you have just alienated yourself from the greatest conservative voice since Ronald Reagan.
In case you missed it, Obama told Congressional Republicans they need to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh if they want to get things done. That's arrogance of the President never seen before, but it's out of Sal Alinsky's
Rules for Radicals. I believe Limbaugh knew it was coming. Limbaugh responded, "Obama is obviously more frightened of me than he is Mitch McConnell. He's more frightened of me, than he is of, say, John Boehner, which doesn't say much about our party."
Well Representative Gingrey, I happen to agree with Rush. The Republicans are an embarrassment--dancing around Obama because they are afraid of being called a racists while his socialist agenda comes closer to becoming the law of the land. I don't see Republicans explaining that to the American people. I want some opposition damn it, and I want it now! At least Rush is dishing it out, unlike the Republicans who are supposed to be representing our side. Do you remember what our side is about Representative Gingrey?
“I think that our leadership, Mitch McConnell and John Boehner, are taking the right approach,” Gingrey said. “I mean, it’s easy if you’re Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh or even sometimes Newt Gingrich to stand back and throw bricks. You don’t have to try to do what’s best for your people and your party. You know you’re just on these talk shows and you’re living well and plus you stir up a bit of controversy and gin the base and that sort of that thing. But when it comes to true leadership, not that these people couldn’t be or wouldn’t be good leaders, they’re not in that position of John Boehner or Mitch McConnell."Come on, show us some good leadership. I'm waiting. I want some partisan bickering so that we don't allow Obama to turn this government into a massive socialist entity. I got news for you Representative Gingrey, this isn't easy at all. In fact, it's the hardest thing I have had to watch in my life with the exception of watching cancer take my grandfather. I love my country just like Rush loves it. We don't want to see it taken to a point where we can't get it back. Get that in your head you pansy Congressman! Stand up for what is
RIGHT or resign.
By the way, thank you Senator John Boehner for having the sense to direct Republican to vote against the stimulus package. There's still hope I may one day identify myself again as a Republican, but until then, I am a conservative supporting conservative leaders.
