Morgan Griffith seems to be peaking at just the right time. Throughout his race to unseat 28 year incumbent Rep. Rick Boucher (D-VA), Griffith has trailed but trending up. With a week to go, Griffith has pulled ahead.
The latest SurveyUSA poll shows Griffith 1 point ahead of Boucher. Boucher is only polling at 46% – a bad sign for an incumbent. Historically, those undecideds will break in the challenger’s favor.
I wonder if Rick thinks that vote for Cap & Tax was such a great idea after all? Only the good folk of the “Fightin’ Ninth” know for sure.
