Congressman Robert Brady

The Philadelphia Inquirer today published two developments in local Philly politics that were more than note-worthy. One was the possible candidacy of a prominent area doctor to challenge Rep. Bob Brady's (D-Penn.) congressional seat in the Democratic primary. The other was the return of mayoral candidate Tom Knox to politics in the form of a gubernatorial run. This past spring, Knox unsuccessful ran for the mayor's seat in a very tight primary electio that saw now Mayor-elect Michael Nutter capture the Democratic nomination.
