Our Good Friends at Friends of Roy Blunt Launch a Robin Carnahan Truth Web Site
It appears Robin Carnahan has been caught with her skirt down. Yikes, that's a visual perhaps I should back up from before scaring too many of my readers off.
OK, let me try to get back on message here. It appears Robin Carnahan has been caught smearing Roy Blunt on TARP even though she is clearly on record now approving of the TARP bailouts. There is a new Web site that was just launched paid for by our good friends at Friends of Roy Blunt that exposes the real Robin Carnahan--a member of perhaps the most hypocritical family in Missouri politics, who are now benefiting from millions of your tax dollars in the form of stimulus money to run some windmills around the state, but that's a different story that you can read here if you want.
The Web site is getrealrobin.com, and it exposes the Carnahan lie that she didn't support the TARP while pointing the finger at Congressman Roy Blunt to smear his efforts to win the Senate seat in Missouri currently held by Kit Bond.
They have Robin Carnahan on tape sharing with a donor her support of TARP just a few short weeks ago. Here's an excerpt from that site:
As Robin Carnahan launches her first TV ad attacking Roy Blunt for supporting the 2008 emergency plan to prevent an economic disaster that could have been worse than the Great Depression, new tapes have surfaced from Robin Carnahan’s July 29 fundraiser in Santa Fe, New Mexico, showing Robin Carnahan agreeing that TARP was “absolutely” necessary to prevent a worse financial problem.
Robin Carnahan previously told the Sedalia Democrat the emergency plan may have been necessary to stabilize the economy. Now we know the truth. Robin Carnahan supported the $700 billion emergency financial plan, highlighting the deception and hypocrisy of her new TV ad.
