Shakira on the Capitol for Universal Education
Shakira was in the District on Tuesday, supporting the "Education for All Act of 2007," legislation co-sponsored by Democrat Representative Nita Lowey from New York.

The legislation would provide $10 billion dollars over five years for universal education!

Shakira also serves as a global goodwill ambassador for UNICEF and is involved with other educational projects.
