Yep the rumours that’ve been doin the rounds ARE true, as ex-Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq and potty-mouthed TV critic, Charlie Brooker are getting officially hitched, after dating for nine months.

The Daily Mail claims the pair are to marry in Las Vegas during a month-long road trip around the US  - but after being announced as the new ‘Xtra Factor’ presenter on ITV2, Huq has now had to postpone the holiday to take up her presenting duties – joining the judges and crew in Glasgow for the first round of auditions this week.

Huq previously dated TV and Radio Presenter Richard Bacon.
