Kicker Connor Barth Inks a New Four-Year Deal

Tampa Bay has announced they’ve signed franchise kicker Connor Barth to a four-year deal. No word on the terms of the deal have been announced. Since joining the Bucs midway through the 2009 season, Barth is 63 of 75 (84 percent) on field goal attempts, including 26 of 28 in 2011, which set a club record with a 92.9 percent success rate. Getty Images According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the Buccaneers have signed place-kicker Connor Barth to a four-year contract.  His deal is worth $13.2 million with $4 million guaranteed. The Bucs placed the franchise tag on Barth at the beginning of the offseason and he recently reported to OTA’s since he was close to getting a new done completed.
