Tampa Bay has announced they’ve signed franchise kicker Connor Barth to a four-year deal. No word on the terms of the deal have been announced. Since joining the Bucs midway through the 2009 season, Barth is 63 of 75 (84 percent) on field goal attempts, including 26 of 28 in 2011, which set a club record with a 92.9 percent success rate. Getty Images According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the Buccaneers have signed place-kicker Connor Barth to a four-year contract.  His deal is worth $13.2 million with $4 million guaranteed. The Bucs placed the franchise tag on Barth at the beginning of the offseason and he recently reported to OTA’s since he was close to getting a new done completed. Connor Barth was packing up his belongings at his parents house in Wilmington, North Carolina and headed out the door to catch a flight back to Kansas City to make the plane ride up to River Falls, Wisconsin with the rest of his teammates when the phone rang. This really isn't much of an update from the UW-RF site but it's all we've got this morning. Remember a lot of these UDFAs the Kansas City Chiefs signed will be trying to make their name on special teams. Kickers Nick Novak and Connor Barth were out on Ramer Field early to warm up for the special teams practice.
