I haven't been active on my blogs lately, or anywhere else for that matter. I've had so much to deal with at home, and helping the kids with their emotions. Trying times, as many are now experiencing, can bring up old fears even after we've done a lot of work to heal them. This is true especially of financial struggles because we have felt unsupported by love, life, and other people in our past. But this is actually an opportunity for us to make great strides in our personal growth. The greatest damage done by abuse is the destruction of our self-esteem and self-worth. Like many people these days, I have some serious financial challenges facing me right now. You may have seen the discussion thread on this, but in case you haven't, this is what's going on. Sometimes it takes the greatest exertion of will to make a higher choice. We know that our attitude is entirely up to us. We know that bearing feelings of resentment, regret, and judgment hurt us and bring us down. Yet, the programming in our unconscious mind toward such reactions is powerful.
