How Does Your Garden Grow?

Mary, Mary, quite contrary, how does your garden grow?
With the seeds of desire
Planted in faith,
Watered with gratitude, and
Fertilized with expectancy.
Then in due time,
Each plant according to its season,
My garden bursts with life.
The harvest comes like a miracle
Almost over night.
I never question when I plant
If seeds will sprout
Or flowers bloom
Or plants will bear their fruit.
For it is the way of nature
That what I plant sprouts
And what I water grows
And plants that grow,
In their time,
Surely must bear fruit.
