In my last post, I warned of the three headed monster that is to be Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. These are the three people who will be running this country unchecked if Barack Obama is elected.
As noted
here, Obama would have you believe he is a middle of the road uniter. His past associations (like sitting on one of racist pastor Jeremiah Wright's church pews for 20 years) indicate that he is not.
In the previous post, I also mentioned a number of things you can expect from an unchecked Obama presidency. One of those is the end of secret ballot union elections, which you can read about
here.
Obama will fulfill the congressional Democrat pledge to kill free speech by reinstating the poorly named "fairness doctrine."
George Will describes it as follows. (emaphasis added)
"Unless McCain is president, the government will reinstate the equally misnamed "fairness doctrine." Until Ronald Reagan eliminated it in 1987, that regulation discouraged freewheeling political programming by the threat of litigation over inherently vague standards of "fairness" in presenting "balanced" political views. In 1980 there were fewer than 100 radio talk shows nationwide. Today there are more than 1,400 stations entirely devoted to talk formats. Liberals, not satisfied with their domination of academia, Hollywood and most of the mainstream media, want to kill talk radio, where liberals have been unable to dent conservatives' dominance."
Obama is not what he seems and the American people can sense it, which is why he is not blowing the doors off this election. Karl Rove hit the nail on the head in Newsweek on why it is still close. (emphasis added.)
"The reason is, people have persistent doubts about whether Obama is qualified. NEWSWEEK's poll last month found that 47 percent felt Obama "has enough experience in politics and government to be a good president" but 46 percent said he didn't. In the recent ABC/Washington Post poll, 45 percent said Obama doesn't have "the needed experience," the same as last March. Even the late-September CBS News/New York Times poll found that while 46 percent feel "Obama has prepared himself well enough for the job of president," 45 percent do not. For good reason: Barack Obama has less than half a term in the Senate, where he's proposed little, accomplished less and spent virtually every day campaigning—as if being on the trail is a principal qualification for president."
Barack Obama is wrong for America. With a Democrat-controlled congress, we would be in for bad times. We need a divided government.
One just need to look at how Republicans have squandered the time we had control of both the legislative and executive branches. Imagine how bad that would be if
the other side had total control.............
Yikes.
