On May 5th he received a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for his role as Drew Bowie in Rock of Ages . The 1980s themed musical debuted on Broadway just a month before Constantine received his nomination. Prior to the Broadway production, Constantine played Drew in the off-Broadway production of Rock of Ages .
