Wal-Mart As Bad Religion

By LifeWithBuck on  From awriterinthedesert.wordpress.com
Me: Could you repeat that? Buck: I said, the shopping cart etiquette at Wal-Mart is so fucking out of control I just can’t begin to believe it. Me: Really. Buck: Really. Trying to push a shopping cart around Wal-Mart, just minding your own business, is impossible. The way people act . . . they think they’re Britney Spears shopping in the store all alone after hours. Me: [laughing] [laughing]  I know. That is true. But it’s not just at Wal-Mart. I have problems everywhere I go that a shopping...Read Full Story

The U.S is Full of Shit

By Randi on  From thearjayconception.wordpress.com
Chinese Factory Worker Can’t Believe The Shit He Makes For Americans Look around America. We are obsessed with buying shit. We are people who confuse “wants” and “needs” as if our language history teaches us that the words are synonymous. The media shows us shit. The shit we think we need in order live. Just watch MTV’s Cribs to view shit that rich people spend their money on. Mariah Carey really upset me one time by saying that she paid a few hundred dollars for a little pillow she liked...Read Full Story

Shopping Frustrations

By Ralph Southerland on
We've all seen it. The car squarely "parked", blocking traffic in the parking lot lane, waiting until hell freezes over or the car to vacate the spot. Usually some one is loading packages into their car while this parking lot hunter wastes time and expensive fuel idling the car just to assume this desired slot. In reality the walk would do them some good (take notice of the physical attributes of the parking lot hunter) and there would be less anger produced by the drivers of the cars piling...Read Full Story

Bogus Phone Charges

By Golf11 on  From homepage.mac.com
So I get home today to start the long holiday weekend and I open my phone bill from Verizon and there’s an additional $7.32 for toll calls and taxes to this OAN Services outfit. I examine the call details and there’s a call listed to directory assistance to the state of Nevada for $5.49, $1.65 related to miscellaneous charges and .18¢ for NY gross receipts tax. Smoke is now coming out of my ears.I call Verizon and they tell me they can’t tell me anything about the call and that they only act...Read Full Story

Craigslist: Get On It!

By Randi on  From thearjayconception.wordpress.com
If you have never heard of Craigslist, or if you have heard of it, and haven’t utilized it–Get On It! You don’t want to miss this virtually free bus and you need to get your ticket before technology forces it into another direction. I was first introduced to Craigslist, aka CL, by a friend of mine in California in 2003. She knew I was looking for an apartment on the east coast. She mentioned Craigslist as a good resource for “underground rentals” and said she was unsure if it had listings for...Read Full Story

Is Manufacturer Ink Better?

By Rohan on  From yourworldwired.com
There has been an age old question that’s been asked in the consumer industry and that is whether or not the ink that is made from manufacturers’ is better than third party vendors such as DollarInk. Let’s review the benefits of replacement ink: it’s cheaper and claims to yield as many prints as the OEM version (original equipment manufacturer) and be just as good quality. The OEM version however, claims that the premium ink is worth paying for as it has better quality and lasts longer. Let’s...Read Full Story

Last tuesday when I got home from work I found out that I don't have electricity at home, I immediately called Meralco the electric company and confirmed that I haven't been disconnected, I also called an electrician to have my power check he confirmed that only 110 is active, so I called back Meralco and they gave me a trouble ticket number and advise me that there will be a service crew to comming over that night, I was surprise and partly not convince that they would show up that night or...Read Full Story

But I don't WANT to set up a call center…

By learnfast on  From workathometruth.com
Elizabeth is upset that we didn't set up a call center and also apparently took a poll of every person on the entire planet. Here's what she says: "Nothing you have posted has been of any interest to me. You need to set up a call centre type of business, that's what people are interested in." - Elizabeth Hmm. Maybe she could try Freedom Telework (Video Below) or check out our other section of work at home phone jobs here.Read Full Story

Craigslist with Pictures - A New Way to Shop

By harfordhawk on  From goodweb.org
So I promised to give you a couple of links to a great way to browse Craigslist.  And here they are.  These are pretty cool, and make it much easier to page through the tons of things for sale.  Also, many people like myself want to see a picture of the item, and ads without pictures are of little interest to me anyway.  Give it a try.  I like the byebyelist site the best.http://www.listpic.com/ http://byebyelist.comRead Full Story
