Laptop Accessories Worth Buying
With my netbook, Brent’s netbook and his old laptop – we learned one thing and we learned it fast. Accessories, while you think they may or may not be needed, quite simple put; are. Whether they are for traveling, ease of use or actually being able to fully enjoy all the capabilities of your laptop – they are worth researching and buying.
I don’t know how many times I cursed myself while using my netbook without a mouse before I finally went a bought one. Or how many times I wanted to listen to something and realized I needed headphones to do so. And I realize the first thought of buying extra with your already possibly costly purchase of a netbook or laptop is, ‘I don’t want to spend anymore’. The truth of the matter is, you will end up dong it anyways. The situation is one of two, spend now or spend later.
First things, first when it comes to Laptop Accessories is:
Bags & Cases.
You are eventually going to travel somewhere. Not only does it make it easier to store your laptop/netbook but it acts as a way to protect it during travel also. Super helpful to have even if you aren’t a serious traveler.
Next up:
Look into buying some sort of Laptop Sleeve or Skin.
These are good for two reasons also. Protecting your product and you get to personalize it for yourself. So it’s fun and worthwhile. And I realize you can think of a hundred reasons why you wouldn’t need these but if you are protecting the inside with anti-virus etc, doesn’t the outside count as part of the product also? Keeping you laptop/netbook protected on the outside counts too. You don’t want damage done to a product you did invest in.
For ease of use:
Navigation Accessories.
I know, I know – a keyboard? But I have used my wireless keyboard a thousand times at home. Whether it’s connecting my laptop to TV or because I am cleaning my keyboard on it. It is useful and often you can get these in a package deal. A mouse is always needed. Navigating with your tiny pad that they offer on netbook’s and laptop’s can be a serious pain.
Last, but certainly not least:
Make the most of your laptop or netbook with Extending Power Life, Back Up Storage and Entertainment Accessories.
Your battery will not last forever. Keeping a back up battery is always a great idea for traveling, forgetting your power cord or if you battery finally does not work anymore.
Check into back up storage for the simple fact that one day you just might hit the wrong button and kapoof there goes EVERYTHING. Also worth checking into is expandable memory. You want to be able to access and do all the things you need to do on your laptop or netbook.
And of course headphone and other entertainment accessories. You want to be able to listen to song, watch a movie, or even catch a podcast. You want to be able to do these things at home in your room quietly, on the couch while the kids are watching TV or while you are traveling. Netbooks do not have super powerful speakers and you will regret it when you go to listen to something and don’t have the ability too!
