Welcome to my daily photo blog documenting my quest to grow bonsai trees from seed. I'm starting with seeds to grow Dawn Redwood trees, although I didn't have success with my first attempt, I've stepped things up and am now on the right track. As you follow along hopefully you will learn something about the species, bonsai, and trees and general. Enjoy!

It seems to be straightening up and looking stronger every day. You may notice some more soil in the background, yesterday I mentioned that I only have one seed sprouting. I am determined to fix this problem and get this little guy some friends, so I went ahead and planted another 27 seeds last night.
