Tips:
How do you clean big roasting pans?
I cook a lot and I cook everything in my heavy roaster pan; both in the oven and on top of the stove. I always clean it with scouring pads but eventually it always looks nasty so I throw it out and but a new one. Does anyone know how to keep these pans clean and shiny looking?

I don’t know what you roast, or if you roasting pan has a lid, but I would switch to a large cast iron skillet or a dutch oven. The finish on both of these will last a lifetime. Both are very heavy. The same cast iron skillets have been in my family for a couple generations now. If you want to keep the food moist put the meat on top of a bed of fruit or vegetables when you roast it in the oven. I hope I helped. There is a section on my blog about cast iron pans, check it out.
