One of the most used pans in cooking, you’ll want to outfit your kitchen with skillets in a variety of sizes. This twin pack will get you started. The sloped sides let foods slide out easily, and the nonstick surface makes cleanup effortless. Use the smallest pan for frying a few eggs, grilling a hot ham and cheese, or making “silver dollar” pancakes, and use the larger pan for searing steaks, sauteing vegetables, or creating one-dish meals.

Tips:
Is your kitchen equipment letting your cooking down?
Cooking is easy. Well, at least it should be. But unfortunately there are a number of factors that conspire against us, such as a lack of time, poor ingredients or the pressure we put on ourselves.
Another considerable hindrance to our kitchen work is not having good enough cookware. Just as how bad ingredients can ruin your menu, so too can having bad cookware.
However, by stocking your kitchen with quality cookware, you’ll find that not only does the food taste better, but the process of making it will be far more enjoyable.
So before you judge your cooking, here are a few things to consider.
1. It may be immediately obvious that your cookware has seen better days. If pans, dishes and trays are misshapen, rusted or stained beyond recovery, then they could be stopping food from cooking properly or giving them an unwanted taste.
2.
Another reason why the kitchen can seem like a daunting place to go is because people don’t have enough of the right cookware. For instance, do you have enough saucepans and are they the right kind? Depending on the size of your family and the things you cook, you may need large and/or small pans.
3. Knives are also vitally important to cooking, so having a good set that do what they’re supposed to efficiently will certainly stand you in good stead. Precise cutting can be crucial to successful dishes, whether you’re dealing with meat, vegetables or other ingredients. A good set should also last you for many years.
4. The other thing to consider is whether your cookware is good enough. Many people see the value in buying cheap equipment at the beginning and then find themselves having to buy replacements not too long after.
Do your research on quality cookware ranges, like Anolon and Meyer, and invest in a set that will last you for many years.
5. Finally, if you’re serious about your cooking, it’s a good idea to invest in a pressure cooker. It does represent a more expensive purchase than pots and pans, but it cooks quicker and is better at retaining the flavour and nutrients of your meals. If you often work late, having a cooker that can provide these benefits could be very handy.
So, whether you need a new cooker or a new cookware set, like Circulon cookware, you could transform your dishes into masterpieces and save yourself a lot of money in the long run.
