Cool Sculptures

From crashed cars to mutated, over-sized babies, the world of contemporary art is filled with bizarre and fascinating sculptures that can make you laugh, smile or cry in terror, depending on the mood you're in.
"Parabola" sculpture by artist Philip Spelman is seen at the Sculpture by the Sea coastal exhibition at Cottesloe Beach on March 5, 2009 in Perth, Australia. The annual exhibition features 62 sculptures this year, all adorning the outdoor coastal area along Cottesloe beach.

Awesome Three-Dimensional Art
Artists have been making sculptures since ancient times, but it wasn't until the contemporary art movement got under way following the end of World War II that things began to get real funky and cool.
