The plan to improve the Edward Jones Dome and ensure that the Rams stay in St. Louis is due to the team on Wednesday. Just when Rams fans thought their era of instability in the ownership, GM and coaching spots was nearing an end with the selected bid by Shahid Khan, Stan Kroenke threw all of those assumptions into an uproar. The Rams have been using the practice squad as a home for players at positions with needs due to injury. (And rightfully so.)  This week, they cut Jamie McCoy from the practice squad and due to Marquis Johnson heading to the IR, they had two open spots. In a game resembling the sad 2008 season of the San Diego Padres, the Bolts lose to the St. Louis Rams 7-6. The Chargers are now 1-1 in the preseason. Forte carried the ball 20 times for a career-high 132 yards, good for a 6.6 per carry average.
