By Cartman on  From nflgridirongab.com
The agency that operates the Edward Jones Dome on Friday rejected an improvement plan for the 17-year-old stadium proposed by the Rams. The St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission said in a brief statement that it believes it is in “the best interest of the community and the Rams to engage in meaningful dialogue over the next two weeks, and looks forward to the opportunity to do so at the earliest convenience of Rams management.” Arbitration begins if no agreement is reached by June 15...Read Full Story

The Rams Hold A Garage Sale

By Cartman on  From ramsgab.com
Last May the St. Louis Rams held a garage sale for season ticket holders out at their training facility at One Rams Way. It was one of those situations where you line up outside the gate and get a wristband and the color of the wristband determines when you enter. First fifty, second fifty, etc. My husband and I were in the second fifty. It was a rainy day and a light crowd and they ended up letting us in early. At the door we were greeted by various important looking Rams people. Was one...Read Full Story

Kroenke’s Bid Adds More Uncertainty To An Uncertain Rams Future

By Cartman on  From ramsgab.com
Just when Rams fans thought their era of instability in the ownership, GM and coaching spots was nearing an end with the selected bid by Shahid Khan, Stan Kroenke threw all of those assumptions into an uproar. Stan Kroenke has more than enough money for the Rams twice over, but that is not the problem with his bid.  Will the league change the rules to ratify Kroenke as a majority owner?  Rumors circle that he does not want the league to change its rules.  But, who knows with Kroenke? Will he...Read Full Story

Rams Practice Squad Moves

By Cartman on  From ramsgab.com
The Rams have been using the practice squad as a home for players at positions with needs due to injury. (And rightfully so.)  This week, they cut Jamie McCoy from the practice squad and due to Marquis Johnson heading to the IR, they had two open spots. They signed CB Terrail Lambert and DT Jimmy Sadler-McQueen to the practice squad.  Obviously, their current need is at corner back and defensive tackle. Lambert has bounced around from the 49ers to the Colts and now to the Rams in just two...Read Full Story

Chargers vs Rams- Preseason Postgame Analysis, Bolts lose 7-6

By E. Tab on  From pompomboo.com
In a game resembling the sad 2008 season of the San Diego Padres, the Bolts lose to the St. Louis Rams 7-6. The Chargers are now 1-1 in the preseason. (AP Photo)The Chargers came into St. Louis resting a majority of their starters, so the final score is not surprising. Here are some of the positives and negatives I'd like to point out: Positives CB's Antoine Cason and Cletis Gordon started at corner and both grabbed one interception. Each player is definitely competing hard for that nickel...Read Full Story

Deadline Today For Rams and Stadium Dome Plan

By Cartman on  From ramsgab.com
The plan to improve the Edward Jones Dome and ensure that the Rams stay in St. Louis is due to the team on Wednesday. The St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission has been working to put together the proposal. The agreement with the Rams calls for the dome to be among the top 25 percent of all stadiums. If not, the Rams could break the lease after the 2014 season. Owner Stan Kroenke has been non-committal about the future of the franchise, creating worry that St. Louis could lose an NFL...Read Full Story

By ticketman on  From blog.ticketchest.com
Tuesday, November 25th, 2008 | Chicago Bears, NFL, Sports The Chicago Bears road the shoulders of Matt Forte and a bruising defense to help defeat the lowly St. Louis Rams 27-3 in the Edward Jones Dome. Forte had a 13-yard touchdown run in the 1st quarter that gave the Bears a 7-0 lead, and then a 47-yard touchdown run in the 2nd quarter that all but put the game away with a 21-point Bears lead...Read Full Story
