The actor is remembered for his work in movies such as Lost Boys and License to Drive, but his image wasn't included in an Oscar tribute to stars who were lost in 2010.

Celine Dion sang "Smile" during the tribute, which included such luminaries as Dennis Hopper, Leslie Nielson and Lena Horne. Haim was noticeably absent from the montage. He died in March while he was living in a monthly rental with his mother.

The 83rd Academy Awards started at 5 PM local time at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, California. The show was hosted by actors Anne Hathaway and James Franco, who was nominated for an award for Best Actor.
