Corey Haim's Funeral: Pictures

(Getty Images)more pics »The funeral for actor Corey Haim was held today in his hometown of Toronto, Canada, where more than 200 friends and family members gathered to pay tribute to the deceased star. According to the New York Daily News, the service was held at Steeles Memorial Chapel and lasted for 45 minutes.

The funeral was funded by celebrity memorabilia website Startifacts, which donated $20,000 to cover costs. An auction of some of Haim's belongings helped to pay for the service.

Notably absent from the funeral was Haim's longtime friend and co-star Corey Feldman, who had said he wouldn't be attending because Haim's family wanted to make it a "small, private affair."

Haim passed away on March 11 at age 38 from an apparent drug overdose, though the Los Angeles Coroner's office is still waiting for toxicology reports. The actor's mom Judy has said she believes pulmonary congestion was to blame for her son's death.
