The Chiefs agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent linebacker Corey Mays from Cincinnati. Mays is 25 years old and is in his 4th year in the league. He is another player with New England connections:
Mays, who agreed to contract terms Thursday, was known mostly for his special-teams play in his four seasons with New England and Cincinnati.

Chiefs LB Corey Mays has signed with Priority Sports, according to Liz Mullen of the Sports Business Journal.
Mays, 26, came into the league in 2006 as an undrafted free agent.
He's playing on his second round tender in 2010.
Generally a player signing a new agent means a new contract isn't far behind. It's unclear at this point if the Chiefs are interested in signing him long-term.
