Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor's confirmation hearings began Monday, and the results were intense and electrifying. Or not. The first day passed uneventfully with plenty of baseball analogies, no real questions for the nominee, and a general opinion that Sotomayor, barring some weird revelation, is going to sail through the confirmation.

In short, it was boring.

So you can't really blame her two young nephews, Corey and Conner Sotomayor, for dozing off during the hours-long snooze fest. Seriously, it's worse than church. Here's another look at the drowsy duo.

The most exciting moment in the hearings came when an anti-abortion protester stood up and screamed "What about the unborn?!" I've included that video below along with another that gives you Sotomayor's opening statements. I would advise watching that second video only if you're looking for the C-Span equivalent of Ambien.
