Cory Lidle

Cory Lidle

Cory Lidle is a professional baseball player. He's a right-handed pitcher for the New York Yankees and wears number 30. He is managed by pitching manager Ron Guidry.

Cory was flyng too low, and too slow, without a warmed up ENGINE !

When you take off in a light airplane, you want to get to the highest speed and highest altitude, as soon as possible !  Cory made the mistake, of many New Pilots, of taking off at a Low Speed, and making Turns, at a Low Altitude !  Taking turns at a low speed, and at a low altitude, will cause any light Airplane to fall out of the Sky !  Cory should have taken off with the Engine gunned, and he should have aimed for a very High Altitude, as soon as possible, instead of going sight seeing around Manhatten Island, at very low speeds, and at a very low altitude !  Apparently, he did not Warm up his Engine before he took off, or he had Water in his GAS, from condensation in his Wing fuels tanks !  The FAA should now restrict any Light Aircraft, from circling Manhatten Island, AT ALL, especially on sight seeing trips !  There are too may Large Airports, around Manhatten, which restricts nearby light aircraft, to only fly at Low Aaltitudes, so they do not interfere with the Large Airplanes, that are landing at the Large Airports nearby !  Cory's flight insructor should have warned him against taking turns, at low altitudes and at low speeds, without a Warmed up Engine !
