A recent warning issued to players of Second Life brings word that fraudulent money transfers will be removed from player accounts along with a 50% additional charge. On Tuesday, Cory Ondrejka, CTO of Second Life developer Linden Lab, gave the company notice that he would be leaving the firm at the end of the year. According to CEO Philip Rosedale, Ondrejka, who was the company's fourth employee, has decided to leave to "pursue new professional challenges." It looks like Facebook has just acqhired Cory Ondrejka, the former CTO of Linden Lab, the developer of virtual world Second Life. Ondrejka was the company’s fourth employee. Update: Facebook has confirmed the hiring and acquisition of the assets of the startup Ondrejka co-founded, Walletin.
