Courtland Smith, a 20-year-old student at the University of South Carolina, was shot and killed by a police officer early Sunday morning. No officials have yet to give any explanation as to why the student was shot. The Archdale Police department stated that officers conducted a traffic stop on the Interstate I-85 in Randolph County.
