Mario Lopez Admits to Cheating on Ali Landry Days Before Wedding

Mario Lopez and Ali Landry were married in 2004 for a short two weeks which was pretty alarming even by Hollywood’s lofty standards. Well it took seven years for Lopez to come clean about the situation but during a recent Howard Stern interview, he finally revealed that he cheated on Landry during his bachelor party just days before the wedding! After they’d already gotten married Landry was horrified when her sister showed her a photo of Lopez partying in Acapulco after he told her he’d only be visiting Cabo to go fishing with his cousins. When she confronted him about this lie, he completely spilled the beans and told her he’d cheated on her during his bachelor party extravaganza. Landry wound up getting their marriage annulled as a result.

When Stern asked him about what he was thinking at that moment in time, he replied, “I was wrong for obviously lying, and I shouldn’t have been in that position . . . I dealt with all this drama, and then at that point… I finally got the balls to say “Hey, listen I’m not ready for this, I’m sorry.”" Lopez also revealed that he’d been with Landry for over six years at that point and that she’d basically given him an ultimatum which caused him to propose despite the fact that he clearly wasn’t ready.

All of this drama happened nearly a decade ago so it’s safe to say that Mario Lopez has matured and learned from his mistakes. He’s currently in a long-term relationship with a Broadway dancer named Courtney Laine Mazza who also happens to be the mother of daughter Gia Francesca. On a completely different note, Lopez is also rumored to be in talks with the producers of Live with Regis and Kelly about taking over for Regis Philbin once he retires so things are definitely on the up-and-up for him.
