This is Not a Happy Cow

A farmer shows his decorated cow during the ceremonial cattle drive on October 4, 2008 in Schoenau am Koenigsee, Germany. If "happy cows come from California," then unhappy cows definitely come from Schoenau am Koenigsee, Germany.

This decorated cow is part of the ceremonial cattle drive, where Schoenau farmers bring their cows down from the Alpine meadows and across the Koenigsee Lake by boat so they can enjoy the winter in stables.

This particular decorated cow understandably looks pretty pissed. But wouldn't you be if some guy made you wear this dumb grass thing on your head then paraded you around town?

Still, I'm not sure what's more embarrassing, having to wear that ridiculous grass crown, or being walked around town by some guy in tiny velvet shorts and knee socks.
